We are so proud to have served the Buffalo Grove community for half a century, providing high-quality education and nurturing environments for children, Infants to 6 years old. As one of the oldest Montessori schools in Illinois, we have a rich history of shaping young minds and helping them grow into confident and independent individuals.

Our School was started by our Executive Director, Deborah LaPorte and her husband Victor in 1975.  Victor Laporte (also a Montessori teacher) and Deborah LaPorte opened their first school with their own toddler. They were on a mission to create a beautiful environment and facilitate an experience that would provide the framework that would encourage all children to fulfill their innate potential. Their school expanded. One program led to another as their own family grew to include three children and two schools. Their children are all grown, professional “Montessorians” in their own right and are continuing their family legacy. The Laporte Families ten grandchildren are either alum or current students. We are an all Montessori all the time family!

Our school is located on at 950 Ellen Dr, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Our classrooms are designed to encourage hands-on learning, allowing children to explore their interests and learn at their own pace. We believe that every child is unique and has their own talents and abilities, which is why our curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of each individual student.
