Programs
Full Day Montessori is available for infants through kindergarten. Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Applications are accepted and children are enrolled throughout the year. Children are placed in an age appropriate class at the time of enrollment following a parent interview, orientation and classroom visit.
Infant through Kindergarten (6 weeks – 6 years of age) is seen as a critically important time in the life experience of the emerging person. Attitudes, aptitudes, interests, and perceptions are integrating and forming the person in process, the child. Our teachers, sensitive to the changing developmental challenges of the young child, facilitate experiences and create opportunities to support emerging abilities, interests and skills. The young child is on the path of self-discovery. Kindergarten is the culmination of your child’s Montessori preschool experience. Activities are provided to help your child prepare for the transition to a traditional elementary school experience.
Each Classroom is carefully designed to meet the needs of the infants, toddlers, twos, and 3 – 6 year olds they serve. Low tables, chairs and materials within easy reach offer your child every opportunity for independence. The child is invited to explore and discover within our carefully prepared learning environment. It is our purpose to prepare an environment rich in potential experience, interaction and exploration that will nurture the child’s growth.
